Top 2016 Trends To Bring Into The New Year

Happy New Year guys! 2016 was such a wonderful year, living in Mexico, vacationing in Cancun for the first time (see our trip here), making kind new friends, so many things I am thankful for! Going into 2017, I am so excited for all the new adventures, one highlight for sure will be becoming Mrs. Silva, I can’t wait! But until then, lets talk about what 2016 trends will be trending in the new year.

There were many cool trends that are going to stay trending in 2017 (thank goodness). One of those trends being my personal favorite are off the shoulder tops! Off the shoulder tops were huge last year from sweaters to blouses you can definitely find an off the shoulder top that is your style and affordable. This one I am wearing was from forever 21 and was something fun and different for me because of the flare sleeves. Below are some picks of off the shoulder tops and more trends to bring into 2017;

Off the shoulder// Love the subtle sexy vibe an off the shoulder top or dress gives, probably why it’s such a popular trend.  

Flare sleeves// Another romantic & feminine touch to an outfit, plus their so fun to play with while wearing haha or is that just me?

Embroidery// I am absolutely loving this trend in everything, from shoes to jackets, thinking of incorporating this trend in my wedding!

Stripes// Just like a print, stripes are a fun way to incorporate into your outfit, you can layer a striped top with a sweater or wear a striped button-up with flare sleeves (like the one below) to work!
