Hi Guys! This past month has been crazy! Wedding planning is in full swing and there is so much to be done. I have been trying to get the main “to-dos” done before I head back to my love in Mexico. Although, I can happily say I found my wedding dress! Honestly, the process was not what I thought it would be. I actually was very overwhelmed at the first two places I went to. I was not really sure what I wanted exactly so it was a bit of a process, but by the 7th or 8th dress I found it! I am making some slight alterations to make it a little bit more me and I am soOo excited to wear it and show you!
I also took some time to visit my family in Oregon while I was in the states. Oregon is such a pretty place to visit, there are so many trees and greenery everywhere, I love it. I normally work out at a gym, but when I come to Oregon, in the summer, I love going for runs or hikes because the scenery is just too pretty to stay indoors. If you have not been to Oregon, I definitely recommend going in the summer time because it rains pretty much the rest of the months of the year (unless you enjoy the rain…a lot) :).
The dress in this post ties together with wedding fun and my travels to Oregon because it’s the dress I used to try on my wedding dresses with (in LA and Oregon) and also one of the colors that will be incorporated into our wedding. I feel it’s so much easier to try on clothing in general while wearing a dress because you can just slip it on and off. A shirtdress is definitely a staple one should have in their closet because it’s versatile and simple. I love how this dress is casual but still has slits (I love a dress with slits, if you couldn’t tell yet from my previous post (: ) plus the blush color gives it a feminine touch!
